The Gambia Investment & Export Promotion Agency (GIEPA) seeks private sector investment for further development of its July 22nd Business Park. The Agency developed the country’s first Business Park at the Banjul International Airport in Yundum and now seeks further development and expansion of the Business Park. Located at the heart of major business crossroads and in one of the fastest growing areas of the country, this strategic location of the 168-hectare area is chosen because of its proximity to the airport. The Business Park offers opportunities through private sector participation for the development of commercial office space, industrial complex, hotels and resorts, and other real estate opportunities within the vicinity.

GIEPA is currently conducting an international search to locate a suitable developer for further development and expansion of the Business Park. The Developer would also be responsible for the day to day management of the Park under long-term lease agreement. The Developer will develop an agreed hectare with subsequent opportunities to develop the entire lot. The development of the Park is to include the erection of state of the art industrial building, construction of necessary infrastructure improvements, retention of appropriate tenants and management of the improved area.
